Hey lovelies! I am so glad that a new week is here! I was so happy to wrap this week up with a good ol Sunday Funday! There is nothing I like more than Sunday and the past couple have been a bit of the landing spot for self-care for me. I have not been able to do anything that I really want to do since I got the house (more on that later) but watching tv and ordering Postmates has been a good substitute to going out. Do you love Postmates or kinda loathe it like I do sometimes after adding up the cost of being lazy lol. (If ya don’t know it is its a delivery app) I moved closer to downtown Atlanta so it is great to order lots of different types of food. My faves are (Gu’s dumplings from Krog Street Market & Bartaco’s pork belly rice bowl). I tried watching a few things on Netflix: Wild Wild Country and Dear White People. Couldn’t get into either and dove back in to Brooklyn Nine-nine on Hulu. It is still hilarious, I would rather laugh than anything. What are you watching? I could use the suggestions.
One highlight of my last Sunday Funday was meeting an online friend that is so wonderful and interesting her name is Mimi of Mimizackery.com. If you don’t know her check her out. She has such an interesting background and is a wealth of knowledge on so many subjects its always fun to meet the fun people that visit this blog. Have you had any online friends become real life friends?Quick details on the lewk. It is from my fave Eloquii and it is still available so check there site for the Button Front Mock Neck Fit and Flare Dress and he shoes are Tory Burch Travel Ballet Flats. Thanks Mimi for the photo sesh!
My house is more of a shock than a joy at this point. All the plumbing stopped working in the bathrooms so I have had to live with my mom for a few days. The entire thing has been frustrating and crazy expensive. I just have to keep it real with you guys. I think I am kinda mourning my old rental life. I never ever had to pay for a single thing other than rent so I could go where I wanted and spend as I wanted. Owning a house makes you realize you have to plan more, save more and for things that are totally unknown. So when you see that awesome airfare out of the country you can’t just buy it like you might have before. You might go to your bathroom and the stinking toilet won’t flush. You can’t be Paris fab with stuffed up toilets waiting at home! At least I can’t! So it will be a while before I can go back to the traveling ways I am used to. So I will probably be talking about home decor and home and life organization more than extensive travel so I can’t wait to explore that with you! Also I am looking into some home workouts do you have any that you love? I am interested in Peleton and kickboxing. What are your fave home workouts?
What are you guys getting into this week? Have you had to take some time for yourself recently to get your thoughts together in an odd situation? Its totally ok to take care of yourself. #selfcareiskey. That is the latest with me, don’t forget to add your Netflix suggestions below!
xo Danie

It is right? I love when we really connect. It is a bit odd when it starts online ๐
I understand how you feel about missing your life as a renter. Owning a house is pretty expensive, however, in the long run, it is always better to own than to rent. Me and my husband gave up some “luxuries” we used to enjoy since we bought our own home. What makes us happy though is that when all the kids are grown and have moved away, there is always a place they can come “home” to.

I’m so excited to hear more about your home-owner life! What an adventure. (Even though right now it is a costly one.) ๐ I ADORE that dress on you!!!

I have had to remind myself to expect growing pains in the house. I had fun with that dress, I love the button detail! Thanks so much
I love your Tory ballet flats! Ugh I became a home owner too and it’s intense!! Didn’t even attempt the bathrooms as the labour fees in London are just whack. I swear they charge more than the city bankers for an hour of their time. Good luck! xx

Man tell me about it. I have had to pay more in the last 4 weeks than I have in my whole life. It has been insane. Congrats on your new home. I am sure we will figure out our way with these new responsibilities soon.
Nice article, thank you for the sharing
