Hey Lovelies,
When I went to TCF Expo for the blogger mastermind day conference, I was really excited to learn and meet many Atlanta bloggers and while we were enjoying a lovely lunch, I got a wonderful surprise. A truly amazing bag was included with the price of the ticket. Have you ever gone to an event and gotten a gift bag and you go thru the items and its nice but nothing to call home about. This one was so nice I went to the the organizer the lovely Marie Denee to thank her, and I had to share it with you!
First of all, lemme say there was a lot of thought and planning that went into this and there is a reason this is significant. When I go most places, the things that come in a bag, I can rarely use or wear because of my size or my skin tone. If there is makeup in the bag, I can rarely if ever use it. If there is a free t-shirt I can rarely wear it. So for EVERYTHING in this bag to be for every woman no matter what race in that room, and to be size inclusive, it was worthy of its own post. So with no further ado, what was in this bag!
These are my faves:
The most gorgeous scarf from Sassy Jones Boutique A massive silk scarf that made me stop in my tracks because of the color! When I tell you that I wanted to stop the world when I saw that this scarf was going to be all mine! It can be worn many ways but I have been wearing it as a head wrap for the last week. I LOVE IT!
My next favorite item is Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – The scent alone is outstanding, I would imagine that bottling the Brazilian beach where everyone was eating salted caramel ice cream would give you this scent. I used it after a shower in the morning and could still smell hints of it late in the afternoon. The cream is really for tightening and smoothing your skin but the scent is outstandingly lovely.
The best surprise in the bag for me were the wide calf knee high socks. Most people might not know but if your calf is over 15 inches most times you cannot wear normal height rain boots or winter boots because the calves are pretty small. These socks have stretch in the calf so if your calf is up to 21 inches these socks are perfect for you. They are called Sock it to me stetch-it socks! They are unisex so anyone can wear them!

Oh man, nothing beats a swag bag — especially one with stuff you can actually use! I’ve heard so many people RAVE about the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. I should splurge on it one of these days. 🙂

That sounds like an awesome thing & those socks are just the coolest thing on Earth! I wish I had more time to attend to all kinds of events 🙂 atm, being a mum, uni, and work is sucking all the time I have haha.
